Speak of the devil, Jeff Freeman got ahold of the folks at Warcry to set them straight about revamping the Star Wars Galaxies legacy quests. The legacy quests are older quests which, in some cases, have been in the game since it was released lo these many moons ago. They’re getting tweaked in order to fit into the more quest-heavy world of post-NGE SWG. From his response:

Note that a lot of the “fixes” you listed weren’t really fixing anything that was explicitly “broken” – certainly not in terms of broken quest logic as caused this problem: most of them are just tweaks to improve the experience of doing a particular quest. e.g. increasing the number of spawns at a given location, etc. We’ll continue to do that.”
