How does it feel being alone in an RPG again? I’m thinking of getting this game for my son who plays WOW and GW. He loved Fable and finished the game in a single weekend. But thats a long time ago now. I’m wondering how it feels to be playing solo once you’ve been hardcore into MMOs?

A few weeks later, and my raging enthusiasm has dulled. Just the same, it hasn’t dulled that much. To answer your questions -

It’s a little weird being alone, but also kind of nice. I feel like Oblivion is a rehab center for a burned-out MMO player. :)

I’m sorry I’m answering your question about your son so late; If you haven’t already purchased it, I would say ‘no’ if your son is a youngish sort of person. It’s really not an appropriate game for someone not at least 16 or so. There are some very morally ambigious concepts in the game (you can become an assassin, for example), so yeah.
