You eloquently described how I feel as a gamer looking for something more than what they insist on dishing out as MMORPG. Unfortunately, the vocal majority still appears to be the jaded players, old-timers/hardcore and people who do want phat loot. Newer players are still getting accustomed and it will take time before they rise up and scream, "you're not going to get more of my money, if this is all you have to offer as a game!"
