Another MMOGBlogoSphere Map

I’ve been staring at XKCD’s map all day today.

Really, the map looks like this to me:

Specifically, there’s been one part of the map that’s caught my eye:

Lo and behold, the harder I looked, the more I saw. I eventually wrote it all down, and this is what it looked like:

Some caveats: I’m a terrible artist and cartographer. Any serious/perceived omissions are due to space and artistic inability, and are not malicious. Specifically, I wanted to add Darniaq and Aggro, but didn’t realize I had no space for them until far too late. Totally non-scientific. I examined the three good looks at the mmogblogosphere, but only as a guideline.The ferry to MMOG Island leaves daily every hour and a half. Fee is 1 gold (WoW), 1 plat (EQ2), 500,000 Credits (SWG), or 250,000 ISK (Eve). No refunds. Please make sure when traveling in the MMOGBlogosphere to carry identification. Authorities for some nations, such as Cuppycake or Plaguelands, are prone to doing random searches. Please follow the posted warnings in all countries on your visit. Make sure to kill at least ten rats.

    Happy, happy, joy, joy - I got beach front property! I look forward the nuclear war between Joystiq and Kotaku. Plaguelands doesn’t get many visitors, I’m surprised I even made the map, but every continent needs at least one country not worth visiting. ;)
