It’s Not A StarCraft MMOG
This is what Blizzard’s frontpage looks like right now:

I don’t see a pattern in the lines or anything. As Matt says below, I think it’s just a timeline. What makes me think that it might be a new element is the fact that … well … they’re due. Their last truly new IP was StarCraft, which launched 10 years ago next year. The company has made some phenomenal games since then (obviously), but you can’t help but think the designers over there are ready to explore some new ground.
Assuming their Massive game is still in the works in the background and that this is a title in some other genre, my thought is that it might be another RTS title?
We don’t have long to wait, so …
Update: Re-written for clarity.

I think this is just a countdown, and we’ll see the highlights shift to the later titles on a day by day basis. In fact, I just noticed that the main splash image is named “day1.jpg” so it’s definitely a countdown.
Doesn’t mean that it is or isn’t StarCraft, just means that Blizzard wants to rev up the hype. (Not that they need to.)
Can’t wait to see what it turns out to be…
Oh, I totally know it’s going to change. I am looking forward to the Diablo days. :)
What makes me think this might be something new is that they’ve got the question mark all by its lonesome in the middle of the two tracks. Its isolation suggests to me that perhaps it’s a bit separate, a bit different, from previous titles?
One can only hope. I really have little interest in a StarCraft MMOG.
That doesn’t look like two tracks to me so much as they’re staggering the titles on the timeline so that it isn’t cluttered. I think you’re reading too much into their graphic design here.
Or perhaps I’m just thinking shallowly. At any rate, I don’t see much rhyme or reason to which titles are on top, and which are on bottom.
This will be Starcraft 2
This will not be World (or indeed universe) of Starcraft

Warcraft > Warcraft > Diablo > Starcraft > Diablo > Warcraft > Warcraft > Diablo?
There’s a pattern in the time line.
