Damn You, Blizzard

Achievements are just ridiculously awesome. It’s not as robust a system as the Tome, to be sure, but it doesn’t have to be. They’re easily as fun as Xbox Live achievements. Big, big win.

Also, I really like Hackworth’s new look.

    Man, like WoW didn’t already have enough insubstantial arbitrary goal posts to grind towards…;)

    Yes, the WoW achievements stirred me, largely though their big, shiny, colorful accessible interface in a way that WAR has not.

    I’m just mildly annoyed that some stuff I have done of the last four years did not get counted. Have to do it again I guess.

    As little as I care to actively chase my Xbox achievements, I found myself soloing Wailing Caverns on patch day for 10 stupid points on my level 70 mage. Well played, Blizzard. Well played.
